Wind's Path Series

This series is inspired by the pleasant breeze that shimmers through the trees over the flowers when walking along the path in the forest, or the moment when one inhales the fragrance of fresh green. The blue background is glazed multiple layers with a matte texture, which gives the work the touch of a watercolor painting.

ABOUT UTSUTSU KILN

The Utsutsu kiln was established by Inazumi Kakoku, who originally studied painting, located in the valley of Kanazawa City where rich in nature.

Her passion for expressing the world of painting in even pottery is reflected in her works. For her, Creation is to give form to something not yet existing in this world.

The Utsutsu Kiln is the place where her illusions and imaginations become visible.

Individuality created by complete handcrafting

In the Utsutsu kiln, every process is done by hand. In the words of Inazumi Kakoku, "The difference between human handwork and mechanical products is the sense of respiration shown in the objects.

” As she says, we can feel a sense of human warmth in Utsutsu Kiln's works. Each piece is handmade one by one, so no two pieces are the same, and even the same shape or design may be slightly different. This is one of the beauties of handmade products, and it makes us feel more attached to them as each piece is unique and original.
