Anyone can easily make delicious rice in just 30 minutes with this Ginpo Kikka Banko Donabe Rice Cooker.

The size is suitable to cook up to 3 rice cooker cups (3 Gou*), which is equivalent to 450g. *A Gou is a rice cooker cup, and one Gou is equivalent to 150g.
The amount of water used will be 1.1 to 1.2 times the amount of rice.

The double-lid construction eliminates the risk of spillage, and with the simple step of "turn off the heat when you see steam," anyone can easily enjoy freshly cooked, delicious rice.

It can be used with either open flame or electric cooktop.

This stylish design is perfect for entertaining guests by placing it on the table and serving hot rice.

Suitable for stewed dishes in addition to cooked rice. Oden, stew, and soup etc. are less likely to fall apart, and the broth soaks into the ingredients well, giving them more Umami.

Mr. Hidemasa Yamamoto, the former Executive Chef of The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C., and the first Executive Chef of Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo, has also given his seal of approval to the product, saying that it is easy to use and produces delicious freshly cooked rice without any mistakes.

About BaNKO ware

Yokkaichi Banko ware is a ceramic ware produced in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. Since ancient times, it has been used to make daily necessities such as tea bowls and plates, as well as works of art such as vases. Today, Kyusu teapots and earthenware pots are representative products of Banko ware, and earthenware pots in particular account for 80% to 90% of all earthenware pots produced in Japan.

Yokkaichi Banko ware is characterized by the excellent heat resistance due to the ceramic clay used. The clay used for earthenware pots is mixed with about 40% lithium ore called petalite, which has a high heat resistance. This technique is patented by Yokkaichi Banko ware and cannot be seen anywhere else.

Sturdy and beautifully crafted! It is surprising how fast it is to cook in this Donabe and how good the food is. The lid has this beautiful blue charm that is even better looking. It is also very easy to clean for those worried about maintaining them. I would highly recommend them!

Rice cooker

Well I YT instructions and followed the instructions and video. The rice came out kinda mushy and stacked to the the bottom. I am sure it is user errors. I love the pot and with time be good with cooking rice on the stove. Can u link to other uses of this pot, like recipes? Thank you the pot is beautiful and with some soaking the rice came off. The craftsmanship is noted and I am keeping the pot on the stove for show!
