This is a Kobachi bowl of Arita ware porcelain decorated in the Kakiemon style.
Kakiemon style, is popular for its compositions that take advantage of the blank spaces to show the beautiful milky white color of the porcelain, and delicately depict flowers and birds blooming in the fields and mountains.
