Atelier Yu Brilliant Blue Flower Kutani Bowl
This large oval bowl features floral patterns which are beautifully designed and have a warm of hand painting. The shape is handcrafted one by one, as you can see the rim draws the natural curbs. The small flower design on one spot of the inside is Atelier Yu's iconic charm.
It can be used both as serving plate for 2 to 4 person and a main dish plate for curry and pasta. We have a series of Atelier Yu's brilliant flower, so you can elevate your dining table more cohesive, elegant and modern Japanese table setting.

About kutani ware
Kutani ware is a type of pottery produced in the Kaga region of Ishikawa Prefecture and it has a history of over 350 years.
It is characterized by the heavy brilliance of the five colors of green, yellow, red, purple, and navy blue that are applied to the bold and daring lines.
Its long history has evolved through the tireless efforts and enthusiasm of people who have sought innovation while maintaining tradition.
In the early 1700s, the Kutani kilns were closed, but about 80 years later they were opened and Kutani ware was revived.
The beauty of the various styles and methods of painting is known as "Japan Kutani" and is highly regarded around the world.

Customer service was excellent - always swift in reply about my questions and when the products arrive, WOW!❤️ love them all but my favorite is the hand painted wares of Atelier Yu. Hopefully they make more of long presentations plates with yellow flowers soon Highly recommended this site. Always loved Japan, Japanese people, Japanese food and now, Japanese wares❤️ Expensive but worth it specially for gift giving as well.
