Display a single flower in style with the "MUSUBI" single flower vase. This unique vase consists of an artistically hand-knotted aluminum strip as a frame and a small glass tube used for setting the flower.

Each frame is knotted by the hands of highly skilled craftsmen who have a deep understanding of the properties of aluminum. Enjoy the difference in texture and color from the front and the back side of the metal. The shine and shadows of aluminum  beautifully complement the organic beauty of a single flower.

"MUSUBI" is the Japanese for "to tie"or "to bond" and is used in the term "En-Musubi" which means "tying bonds." The concept of this product comes from the design of a "Mizuhiki," a traditional decoration used for formal occasions made by beautifully knotting tightly twisted strips of paper. The meaning held by this vase and the shape makes it a very popular item for weddings and celebratory occasions.

This vase is easy to use. We recommend using 1 flower with a leaf or 1 or 2 stems of greenery. Take a close look at the knotted wire frame from above and find an opening to place the glass tube and then gently insert the flower.

Here are some recommended flowers according to season.
Spring: Pansies, Columbine flowers, spring greeneries
Summer: Green Foxtail, Ivy, Meadowsweet plant
Autumn: Cosmos flowers, Maple leaves, Leek flowers, Balloon flowers
Winter: Nandina (Heavenly Bamboo), well-shaped branches

Feel free to use whatever flower that may be available. Enjoy experimenting with different colors, shapes and sizes. As the base frame is low in height, we recommend you cut the flowers fairly short to maintain a balanced composition.

This vase is available in two colors: an aluminum color that brings out the best of a flower or leaf, and a subdued brown that blends easily with greeneries. The vase's dynamic shape makes it perfect to use with a few seasonal flowers or even just green leaves.

Some notes when using this vase. As the glass tube is fairly light, insert the flower into the tube with care. The frame is made from a robust aluminum strip. Adjustments using excessive force may cause damage to the frame.
