This is one of the most famous works in Japanese art, “Great Wave” by Katsushika Hokusai.

The contrast of stillness and motion, change and universality, large and small, is characteristic of this work.

Throughout his life, Hokusai painted waves as the main subject of his paintings along with Mount Fuji. Hokusai's expression of the ever-changing movement of water captures the hearts of those who see it, even in modern times.

The Furoshiki has a pearl-colored subtle glow on the part where the water drops are drawn, giving an interesting texture to the entire Furoshiki.

It is perfect for wrapping precious gifts or as a bag for daily use.

We also have a different size of 104cm(41in) Furoshiki with the same design. See and find more items from our Furoshiki and Hokusai collection.

Hokusai Wave Cotton Furoshiki Wrapping Cloth 41in

This is large furoshiki that is big enough for almost all of my gift wrapping needs. The iconic print of the tsunami wave is recognizable by almost everyone. It can even be hung up as a nice piece of art. Very versatile!
