    ABOUT HAREKUTANI

Harekutani was born in 2017 with the desire to bring Kutani ware to life in a casual manner.

Kutani ware from Ishikawa Prefecture, which has a history of over 300 years, is hand-painted by the artist with delicate patterns.

The characteristic of this product is that it is made of a variety of materials. As one of Japan's representative "colored Kiln", it has the charm of a dignified feel that beautifully complements food.

    Perfect idea for the gift

As the Harekutani brand name suggests, these dishes are perfect for special days and make great gifts.

They are also a great choice for birthday celebrations, wedding and family celebrations, gifts, and Mother's Day. All items come in a beautiful gift box, which is a nice touch. The back of the box is also decorated with a beautiful floral design.

The attention to detail in the wrapping as well as in the dishes reflects the fact that we want people to be excited to pick it up and enjoy it. This is because of the wish to have Harekutani.

    About kutani ware

Kutani ware is a type of pottery produced in the Kaga region of Ishikawa Prefecture and it has a history of over 350 years.
It is characterized by the heavy brilliance of the five colors of green, yellow, red, purple, and navy blue that are applied to the bold and daring lines.
Its long history has evolved through the tireless efforts and enthusiasm of people who have sought innovation while maintaining tradition.
In the early 1700s, the Kutani kilns were closed, but about 80 years later they were opened and Kutani ware was revived.
The beauty of the various styles and methods of painting is known as "Japan Kutani" and is highly regarded around the world.

    So cute mugs

The mugs are super cute and I can feel the high quality. My mugs came in very nice packaging and I liked how they carefully wrapped it. I believe it is fairly normal size in Japan, but in USA it felt a little bit small for a coffee mug (maybe, I think too much coffee)
