As the name "Nanpu" suggests, this bowl has a rustic texture, like stoneware from warm regions. The straight lines of blue and brown represent the rain pouring, and the design is full of the warmth of nature.

The warped rim makes it easy to stack bowls of the same shape on top of each other for convenient storage.

It can be used for various kinds of Donburi Rice such as Katsudon, Gyudon, Oyakodon, Kaisendon(Seafood Donburi), etc. Suitable for rice bowl recipes using about 1 cups (1 gou) of rice. This size could be recognized as regular size for one serving in US.
It is also suitable for noodles with soup, such as Ramen, Udon and Soba.
