Nishiki Sakura Mino Ware Donburi Bowl M
This regular sized Japanese Donburi bowl features the painting of Cherry blossoms(Sakura) in vivid colors. The painting style is called Nishiki-e, which is originally an elaborate woodblock print with multiple colors.
Suitable for rice bowl recipes using about 1 cups (1 gou) of rice. This size could be recognized as regular size for one serving in US. It is also suitable for noodles with soup, such as Udon and Soba. For ramen, it may be a little small for those who want to add a lot of toppings.

We bought a set of 4 bowls, because we like unusual handmade items. These Donburi bowls are lovely, and we will use them for a variety of Asian style soups and rice dishes. The shopping experience was exceptional - we ordered the bowls on 1/29 and received them, shipped from Tokyo, on 2/1. An enclosed letter welcomed us and thanked us for supporting Japanese crafts.
