This Japanese furoshiki was designed by origami artist duo "Cochae". The impression changes depending on whether you wrap the "Okame" or the "Hyottoko" in front. Okame(female) and Hyottoko(male) masks are used to act as a clown in Kagura (a dance and song dedicated to the gods in Shinto shrine). It has a meaning of warding off evil.

The size of 48 cm(18.9in) is suitable for wrapping small items or bento boxes. The moderate unevenness of the surface gives it more texture than a flat fabric and is easier to wrap. The more you use this cotton material, the softer and gentler the texture becomes.

With this unique Japanese motifs and bright design, it is recommended for everyday use as well as for gift-giving.
