LEARNING THE STORY BEHIND EACH PIECE

Musubi Kiln's products are supported by the handiwork of artisans from all over Japan. In order for us to be able to provide authentic products with confidence, the process involves the efforts and skills of many artisans, including those who make tools for artisans, those who prepare raw materials and ingredients, and those who make unique final products.

If you learn about traditions passed down through the ages and the stories behind the traditional Japanese tableware made by skilled artisans, you may feel more attached to the items you have and treat them as more than tools or objects.

You will come to cherish your tableware. You can enjoy creating your own little world on the kitchen table with your favorite plates and a sake set, each of which has its own story. We believe this will give depth to your mealtimes and add a touch of color to your everyday life.
