SAVORING OUR MEALTIMES—SMALL PART OF OUR LIVES YET EVERYDAY EXPERIENCE

Assuming that your life is 80 years, you have nearly 90,000 meals in total. Accordingly, while the number of meals we have is limited, mealtimes are something we experience every day.

Our food culture is becoming diverse each year, and we have full of disposable plastic containers for our convenience. Still, we see each mealtime as an experience to be with our favorite tableware as well as with our loving family and friends, rather than the time to just consume food.

A renowned Japanese artist and chef Rosanjin expressed tableware as "a kimono for food," while the brilliant chef of El Bulli, Ferran Adrià, expressed cooking as "an experience."

We hope to make your daily mealtime more creative and meaningful. As your friend, the staff of Musubi Kiln will help you bring out your sensibility and creativity around the kitchen table.
