This pair of wine cups is decorated with a band of gold leaf, one of the signature techniques of Kutani ware called "Kinsai". The classy and elegant design makes for a luxurious wine time.

The unique pattern was created by firing gold leaf on a green and red base and has a different finish for each piece, depending on the firing process.

The combination of the metal stem and porcelain cup is well balanced and enhances the beauty of each material. It has been more than a decade since the development of this design and has become one of the most outstanding pieces of modern Kutani ware. Although originally designed as wine glasses, they can also be used to enjoy other alcoholic beverages such as sake.

The gorgeous design and size are perfect for celebrations, house parties, and other occasions when people are invited, and the pair set is also a perfect gift for those who enjoy wine with friends and family.
