Hirota Chirori Edo Kiriko Glass Sake Cooler & Warmer Pot
Glass "Chirori" is recommended for enjoying a special sake.
Originally, "Chorori", a tool for heating sake, was made of metal, but by making it of glass, it has become an elegant item that adds sophistication to the table. The handle and lid are also finished in vermillion lacquer, giving it a romantic appearance.
It is great for serving both cold and hot sake.
When drinking cold sake, you can put ice in the attached container made of Edo Kiriko cutting glass to cool sake in the "Chirori" without diluting it.
The "Chirori" is made of heat-resistant glass, and warm sake can be put directly into it after it has been heated.
However, the attached container made of Edo cutting glass is not heat resistant. Please remove it when using it with hot beverages.
It is recommended not only for sake but also for tea.
You can enjoy Japanese tea from the color of the tea, such as Matcha or green tea.
The lacquered lid and handle are by GATO MIKIO of Yamanaka Lacquerware. This is a unique and special product created through the collaboration of two traditional crafts from different regions, Edo Kiriko and Yamanaka Lacquerware.

This is a beautiful piece. Light flows through the glass. The contrast of clear glass, red etched glass and metal lid and handle is very pleasing.
