This is a transparent Edo glass cup. Originally a glass for drinking sake or Japanese tea, but its 180ml/6.1oz size makes it suitable for any drink. The upper part is carved with camellia flowers, and the lower part is decorated with traditional Edo Kiriko patterns.

It comes in a paulownia box and makes a great gift.
