Makie Japanese Bush Clover Furoshiki 46in

USD $45

This Japanese Furoshiki features a design of Makie, the technique of Japanese lacquer art, which attracted attention as a majestic craft in the Momoyama period(1568 - 1600) and matured during the Genroku period(1688 - 1704).

The design of "Hagi" (Japanese bush clovers) in gold and white on a black background is chic and creates a traditional and luxurious atmosphere typical of Makie.

The large 118cm Furoshiki can be used as a tablecloth for a small table or as a tapestry. With Furoshiki handles, you can make a beautiful bag with this design. The more you use this cotton material, the softer and gentler the texture becomes.

With this unique traditional patterns, it is recommended for everyday use as well as for gift-giving.
