This Yamanaka Lacquerware tray has a square shape with corner cut-off with a bold pattern of Japanese turnip. It has a beautiful black lacquer on top of the red lacquer, so you can slightly see the red color. It is very smooth to the touch, and the luster of the lacquer conveys a sense of luxury.
