This is a ramen bowl from Musashi Kiln, featuring the elegant motif of water plants. This motif is a hallmark of Yashichida Oribe ware, characterized by its green glaze and abstract brushstrokes.

Drawing inspiration from nature, Tsujii Musashi imbues his creations with a subtle, rustic beauty. The understated elegance of this piece is enhanced by random spots of gohonde, pinkish spots emerging after the firing of the pottery.

Thin and lightweight, this bowl is easy to handle even when filled with soup-rich noodle dishes. The rim is designed for comfortable sipping, and the slightly higher foot allows for a secure grip. Not just for ramen, this piece can be used as a noodle bowl for various dishes as well.

Musashi Kiln was created by Tsujii Musashi in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture in 2006, with a focus on Mino ware. Alongside his distinctive pottery-making, he engages in agricultural pursuits, finding inspiration in nature for his designs.
