Discover the exquisite elegance of our Edo Kiriko glassware rocks glass, a masterpiece with the mesmerizing allure of lapis lazuli. Crafted with the intricate chrysanthemum motif known as kikutsunagi, this glass represents the pinnacle of Edo Kiriko artistry. The kikutsunagi pattern, characterized by its incredibly fine lines, demands a high level of skill, precision, and focus from the artisan, making it one of the most challenging and revered motifs.

The detailed kikutsunagi motif, nestled within a fan shape, radiates an exceptional glow. This popular design is especially admired for the delicate light it emits, creating a stunning visual effect. As you hold this glass, you'll be enchanted by the meticulous cuts that shimmer in the light.

The luscious lapis lazuli color of the glass adds a layer of opulent beauty, contrasting the clear and lavish appeal with the textured motif. This exquisite color, combined with the detailed artistry of the kikutsunagi and fan shapes, enhances the luxurious feel of the glass. The smooth texture of the untouched glass contrasts beautifully with the more tactile experience where the motif is applied, inviting you to explore the artistry with your touch.

Holding up to 150 ml or 5.3 oz of your favorite drink, it’s the right size for whatever is on the menu, and the three-dimensional star at the bottom instantly elevates the visual of the cocktail, mocktail, or any other liquid inside. It arrives tucked with a beautiful box made of paulownia wood, light and made to protect the cup when not in use. It also makes a beautiful gift.

This glass is made with a craft technique called Edo Kiriko, which involves the precise cutting of crystal against a cutting wheel, to create geometric shapes and lines that catch the light from every angle.

Each Edo Kiriko glass is made by the hands of artisan Kiyohide in his workshop called Kirameki, which means “The Refined Light.” Kiyohide has honed his craft over decades of dedication, earning him the title of Edo Kiriko Craftsperson, an honor reserved only for those who have proved their craftsmanship of the technique.
