A thin and light sake cup that does not feel heavy to hold. The dimpled shape makes it easy to hold and easy to sip sake. It is small in size as a sake cup making it a perfect item to enjoy the rich and fragrant aromas of sake little by little. You can pair this sake cup with the sake carafe from the same "Tokusa" series to make an elegant sake set.

The "Tokusa" series by the Hasami ware company Fukuhou Kiln was first produced in 1976. Since then, it has become a long seller as a standard item. The "Tokusa" is a pattern of vertical stripes, which has been used as a pattern for tablewares since ancient times and is a familiar pattern in Japan. The patterns are hand-painted one by one by craftsmen, and are carefully made.

The "Tokusa" series has a variety of items for the dining table, such as rice bowls, teacups, and sake carafe. We hope you will enjoy a unified table setting with items from the Tokusa series.

Memories of Japan

We bought some Fukuhou Kiln Tokusa Hasami items during our recent visit to Japan. We loved the design and quality so much, that on our return home in UK, we regretted not getting more items. So, we were happy to find that we could buy more from Musubi Kiln. So, we placed an order and were delighted to receive it two weeks later, beautifully wrapped with furoshiki (wrapping cloth).
