This Japanese furoshiki was designed by stencil dyeing artists unit Kata Kata. It has a humorous drawing of a bear holding a salmon with great care. The gentle colors and bold design of this piece are eye-catching.

In order to preserve the rustic, hand-crafted feel, the designs are based on kata kata's actual carving patterns.

It is made of "Aqua Drop", a water-repellent cotton material with the following characteristics:

(1) The fabric is treated with a strong water-repellent finish, making it not only water-repellent, but also stain-resistant and quick-drying.
(2) Highly heat-resistant material that does not melt easily when exposed to heat compared to polyester.
(3) Environmentally friendly products made of 100% organic cotton. Recommended for those who want to choose eco-friendly products and avoid using polyester for the environment.

Not only can it be used to wrap gifts, but its larger size and water-repellent finish make it useful in a variety of situations. This furoshiki is perfect for everyday use, such as shopping, going out, rainy days, leisure activities, and for use as a baby mat.

I recommend this product

I was sooooo happy!

I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered these. Online, you can’t judge quality, plus some of the photos look a bit washed out. But they were charming, and I needed something special to wrap the first printing of my book in, for those helpers (it’s their book too — I could have not done it without them) who gave their time, talent and love to the project). And among all the prints, I was able to find just those to fit each personality. The package came yesterday, wrapped in a cloth of its own, and I was over the moon. Prints are bright, quality substantial, seam at edge PERFECT. Thankyou! I HIGHLY recommend these. It gives me confidence that other products are carefully chosen, too.
