Kata Kata is a unit of Takeshi Matsunaga and Chie Takai. They produce original dyed fabrics by stencil dyeing, dip-dyeing, and printing. The motifs are all the things that are found in everyday life, such as animals, insects, plants, and landscapes.
Their great joy in creation is to find a story in all of them, create a heartwarming design, and dye the cloth beautifully. 

Their design creates a conversation, so that when you unfold the cloth, you can imagine a story. Kata Kata hopes to create an original fabric with such a warm atmosphere.
