Introducing the tea spoon from the "URBAN" series, which harmonizes effortlessly with any type of dishware. It is produced in Tsubame-Sanjo, a region that accounts for 90% of metal utensil production in Japan.

Unlike the design of a typical tea spoon, the entire spoon is shaped with a supple curve that resembles the flow of water.

With its matte finish, the shine is subtly elegant, creating an overall tranquil impression. The finish also makes it less prone to showing scratches, making it perfectly suitable for daily use.

It is also dishwasher safe.

This item is perfect not only for daily use but also for entertaining guests or as a thoughtful gift for someone special.

Although "URBAN" series boasts a fresh design, it is a long-standing favorite that has been cherished for over 30 years. Imagined with words like bold, lively, rustic, and warmth, it has been designed to harmonize with the world of Japanese pottery. Alongside its stylish design, its high functionality also contributes to its popularity, delivering an unpretentious and easy-to-use product.

About METALWORKS

In Japan, gold, silver, copper, tin, and iron are called "Gokin (five metals)" and have been used as materials for metalworking since ancient times. Each metal has a different luster, workability, strength, thermal conductivity, heat retention, moisture resistance, corrosion resistance, etc., and techniques to utilize these characteristics have developed in various regions. From daily necessities such as pots, kettles, and accessories to works of art that represent the times such as tea ceremony utensils, Japanese swords, and Buddhist bells, a wide variety of metalwork has been produced in each era.

Great spoon!

We decided to purchase these spoons in the pink-gold color as well after we fell in love with using it to scoop items right out of their jars. Didn't think it was going to be necessary/practical until we noticed we use it almost every single day!
