The unique Japanese teacup features lovely cherry blossoms against a Turkish blue sky. The scene is composed of small cherry blossoms in white and pink, with green leaves interspersed in the gaps between the flowers, making the entire picture more vivid and vibrant. With its distinctive shape, it suggests the beauty of spring and nature.

The pink and blue teacups employ a special coloring technique. During the cooling process after the ceramics are removed from the kiln, variations in the contraction rates of the surface glaze and the ceramic body in the air result in intricate patterns resembling ice cracks on the surface of the ceramics. Just as spring arrives, warming the weather and causing winter's ice to slowly melt and crack, the camellia flowers also begin to bloom. This creates a dynamic imagery on the otherwise static cup walls, allowing us to glimpse the arrival of spring.

Kokuzou Kiln, known for gentle and warm stoneware with beautiful colors and elegant design, continue to create everyday tableware into something more special. This craftsmanship, known as Kutani ware, has been highly popular since the Meiji era (1868 CE – 1912 CE), both domestically and internationally.

This uniquely round shape is not only charming but also easy to use. It fits well in the hand as skilled craftsmen design and mold the shape of the stoneware by potter's wheel to match the painting.

Pour freshly brewed coffee or tea and enjoy a special teatime with this beautiful teacup.

The size 320ml cup is ideal for a leisurely cup of tea.
