Kokuzou Kiln
"Pottery is part of our life."
Kokuzou Kiln has the unique texture and warmth of pottery, the charms of hand-painting, and the comfortable shape to use. It is one of the few kilns in the Kutani ware industry to have an integrated production system, where everything, from forming the base material to painting and firing, is done in-house.
Kokuzou Kiln is located at the foot of the Mt. Kokuzou in Ishikawa prefecture. The kiln's name is also derived from the name of a bodhisattva who possesses vast and boundless wisdom and virtue. Kokuzou Kiln aims to create gracious and beautiful pottery.
