Feel the world of ancient Japanese artistry, celebrated for over 400 years, with these chopsticks beautifully decorated with traditional motifs of pine trees and bamboo leaves from Matsukan's Rimpa series. Vivid green pine trees are depicted on a white background, while on the light green pair, delicate bamboo leaves are portrayed in green and gold.

Rimpa, a historical school of painting from the Edo period (1603 CE - 1867 CE), focuses on themes rich in nature and seasonal references, drawing inspiration from Japanese literature such as The Tale of Genji and ancient poems composed by courtiers. These chopsticks represent a modern interpretation of Rimpa's vivid artistic world, blending traditional splendor with contemporary colors and design.

The pine tree is celebrated as an auspicious motif for its symbolism of longevity and the bamboo for its prosperity of descendents.

The chopsticks' rounded square shape ensures easy handling, fitting comfortably in the hand thanks to their slender design. Crafted from high-quality natural wood, they enhance the tactile experience of using chopsticks, bringing a touch of elegance and tradition to every meal.

Perfect as a gift, this exquisite set pair comes in a beautifully crafted paulownia box, adorned with powerful and straight bamboo, marked by prominent nodes, alongside richly thriving pine branches, capturing a scene of natural splendor.
