Yoshita Kasho Glass Silver Matcha Bowl Chawan

JPY ¥75,600

The silver-white shine reminds you of the elegance and magnificence of the silver glare of winter snow. Together with the matcha green, one is taken to the evergreen pine forest and winter sunlit snow. The warmth of the tea, felt in your palm, complements the winter cold theme. The rough wood texture of the outer surface is coated with black lacquer, a meditative and robust tone of black.

While silver may not have the brilliance and extravagance of gold, it possesses the serenity and splendor of a more restrained yet elegant shine. The silver embraces the green hue of warm matcha, bringing you a heart-warming and subdued experience of beauty. An elegant matcha bowl combining silver leaves and lacquer coating.

The glass protects the silver layer so you can cherish this piece in your everyday use without worry of scratches.  The heat-proof glass was made in Aomori prefecture by Tsugaru Vidro, a region with a long tradition of glassware.
