This teacup, traditionally used for serving guests, is crafted to be larger than standard teacups and comes with a lid. The rim of the teacup is gently curved, ensuring a pleasant sip. Guests will enjoy the aroma of tea upon opening the lid, enhancing the overall experience of tea consumption.

A distinctive feature of this teacup is the blue wave pattern called seigaiha applied on the outside, inside, and both the top and bottom of the lid. The seigaiha pattern, symbolizing good fortune, is also used in the costumes of Japanese Noh theater. It represents the spreading of ripples outward, symbolizing the expansion of good relationships.

The lid's knob features a radiant ascent of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms, adding a touch of elegance. The depiction of Mount Fuji, from its peak spreading down to its base, coupled with the Seigaiha pattern, collectively symbolizes the teapot as an emblem of auspiciousness.

This teacup is an excellent piece for entertaining guests, adding elegance and ease to the hospitality experience.
