Suian Suruga Bamboo Basketry Small Tray
The beauty of the detailed handcrafting of Suruga Bamboo Basketry can be felt in this gem. The surface of the tray is made of bamboo weaving with a combination of star and hexagonal patterns, and the reverse side is made of very thin bamboo strips woven into a herringbone-like pattern.
It can be used at tea time with a plate to put sweets or fruits on, or displayed as an interior decoration.
It is a beautiful design that is hard to find anywhere else, making it a perfect gift.
Please wipe dust and dirt with a soft brush and a squeezed dish towel. Do not wash it in water or hot water. Use in a dry, well-ventilated place to enhance the natural luster unique to bamboo.
