On this bowl, lines in sometsuke "Blue and White" style form smooth and elegant curves, representing leaf veins. These lines are hand-painted by artisans, with subtle variations in thickness and shade making each unique. When using this plate, you can feel a closeness to nature.

Sometsuke is a technique that applies indigo color onto a base fired to pure white, using a pigment mainly composed of cobalt oxide called gosu. Artisans meticulously select their soil, glaze, and gosu to enhance the contrast between white and indigo.

This bowl is sized perfectly for everyday use, suitable for holding appetizers, salad, and noodles. The unique, leaf-inspired edge adds a simple yet striking design element. Additionally, the two lines drawn on the foot ring part elegantly enhance the side profile of the bowl.

Its design is appropriate for use in any season, but especially ideal for summer, as its color scheme and texture offer a refreshing and delightful experience to the user.
