Description

This plate is one of the six in the "Art Styles of the Past" series. It showcases the unique design of Kutani ware in the Yoshidaya style.

The Yoshidaya style is renowned for its use of translucent pigment and delicate painting style, complemented by refined, skillfully-drawn pictures. It is painted and covered with a yellow overglaze – the elaborate and swift brushwork bringing a lightness to the painting.

In the central circular frame, three flying birds are depicted in blue, green and yellow. They are surrounded by several patterns such as arabesque, which is considered a symbol of longevity and prolongation of life.

The plate comes with a stand, allowing it to be displayed on a shelf or table. It is also suitable for use at special occasions.

Packaged in a wooden box, this plate makes an ideal gift for those who appreciate traditional crafts and interior décor.
