This Kutani ware medium bowl is of an easy-to-use size.

The rounded form and hand-painted arabesque pattern on the rustic stoneware give it a warm texture. The vivid red and green coloring of the pattern, which is also included inside, complements the food like a picture frame.

Please note that this bowl may have a cracking pattern called "Kannyu" in the surface glaze.

Ideal for serving simmered dishes and salads. It can also be used to serve teriyaki bowls, poke bowls, and other Donburi rice dishes for one person. The shallow and wide shape makes it easy to serve food and make it look gorgeous.

Bitouen is a Kutani ware kiln with over 100 years of history. They create unique designs with hand-painted Kutani patterns arranged in a modern way. Using the motifs of famous pieces from the history of Kutani, such as Ko-Kutani, Yoshidaya, Ko-Sometsuke(blue and white porcelain), and Rosanjin, Bitouen proposes warm tableware for daily use.
