A charming small plate that will dazzle any table setting for special occasions.

"Kikubishi" is a traditional Japanese design that dates back to the Edo period. Kikubishi refers to a pattern where a chrysanthemum is designed in a diamond shape. It is characterized by its elegance with a dignified image.

This plate comes in two colors, gold and silver. The gold has a warmer feel and the silver a cooler impression. The surface of the plate is slightly coarse and nicely reflects the metallic colors. The sides are colored in a matte dark brown.

Use these plates to serve small appetizers before a meal or place them on a larger plate to hold a sauce or condiments. Use 2 or 3 of these plates to serve different types of cheese for a wine tasting occasion.

Delicacy plates from Zuiho Kiln will help you elegantly decorate your table with their stylish designs and stunning metallic colors.

ABOUT ARITA WARE

Arita Ware, made in the town of Arita in Saga Prefecture, is the oldest porcelain production area in Japan's history. Arita porcelain is characterized by its translucent white porcelain surface, dyeing using "Gosu" (indigo pigment), and gorgeous red painting using glassy overglaze pigments (red, green, yellow, purple, and blue). The pottery is highly durable and is produced in a wide variety of styles, from fine art to daily necessities. It was exported to Europe, where it was prized as fine art and called "white gold".

Arita Ware is also a prestigious brand that is admired by ceramicists from other regions as a representative porcelain production area.
