Floral Patterned Japanese Teapot
Estimated Shipping Widget will be displayed here!
This ceramic teapot is made of black Tokoname ware with a hanamizuki (dogwood) flower pattern.
While retaining the natural atmosphere of clay, the polished and smooth texture, and the minimalistic form cultivated through a long tradition, conveys an elegant atmosphere. The lids of Tokoname teapots are known for their tight fit and airtightness, which allows the tea to slowly draw out its flavor.
It has a "Sawayaka" strainer, a stainless steel fine mesh strainer inside. The appropriate mesh size allows for smooth brewing of even the finest tea leaves. The end of the mesh bent inward to prevent hands and sponges from being damaged during cleaning.
With its size and the fine mesh strainer, this teapot is suitable for any tea. Fukamushicha (deeply steamed tea), hojicha (roasted tea), and genmaicha (brown rice tea) are especially recommended.

Artisanat
