Glassy and luminous, the interplay of light and shadow created by the texture invites viewing from every angle.

Tobe-Porzellan wird in der Region Tobe der Präfektur Ehime im Nordwesten der Insel Shikoku hergestellt. Das weiße Porzellan mit seinem schönen, leicht bläulichen Farbton, der durch den Eisengehalt entsteht, wird nach wie vor sehr geschätzt und geliebt. Tobe-Porzellan bewahrt auch inmitten der Modernisierung seinen hohen Respekt vor traditionellen Handwerkstechniken.
