Indigo Blue Rabbit Children's Japanese Teacup

Two bunnies sitting side-by-side on an Indigo blue semi-circle with an Arabesque design are hand-drawn on each piece. And differing shades of Indigo blue can be enjoyed with the watercolor painting style. 

The bunnies and the arabesque patterns are outlined with a thicker paint, giving the cup a slight texture under the smooth glaze. You can feel the outline of the bunnies and vines with your fingertips.

The base is a soothing beige color with the edges colored in a rustic brown. The rim of the cup is rounded and smooth, and has a comfortable touch to the mouth. Use it to serve drinks for your children at the table for a Japanese style meal at home.

Aizen-Ofen

Aizen Kiln ist ein kleines Studio in der Natur der Berge in Hasami-cho, Higashisonogi-gun, Präfektur Nagasaki.

Zwei Handwerker und drei Mitarbeiter arbeiten fleißig an der Herstellung jedes einzelnen Stücks. Die Produkte von Aizen Kiln zeichnen sich durch rustikale Materialien aus, die ihnen eine ruhige und edle Ausstrahlung verleihen. Dennoch sind sie alltagstauglich gestaltet und bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht. Sie legen Wert darauf, jedes Stück sorgfältig zu überdenken, anstatt viele identische Stücke zu produzieren. Die Unterschiede zwischen den einzelnen Stücken sind die „Charakteristiken“ des Geschirrs, und diese Unterschiede können als Individualität genossen werden.

Hasami-Ware

Hasami-Ware ist eine traditionelle japanische Keramik, die in der Stadt Hasami, oft auch „Stadt der Töpferei“ genannt, in der Präfektur Nagasaki auf Kyushu hergestellt wird. Seit über 400 Jahren wird sie als langlebiges und praktisches Geschirr für den täglichen Gebrauch geschätzt.

Es ist bekannt für seine lebendigen Designs, die auf reinweißem Porzellangrund gemalt sind – ein ikonisches Merkmal japanischen Porzellans. Während Hasami-Ware weiterhin traditionelle Muster ehrt, kreieren Kunsthandwerker ständig neue Designs, die zum zeitgenössischen Lebensstil passen und zeitlose Schönheit mit moderner Funktionalität verbinden.
