Choju Giga Fan-shaped Sauce Plate

This unique fan-shaped blue and white sauce plate features anthropomorphic animals from the famous caricature scroll "Choju-Giga," painted between the mid-12th and mid-13th centuries which is designated as a national treasure. 

Next to the anmials, Kozan-ji, the name of a World Heritage temple in Kyoto that owns this scroll is written in Japanese.

The plates are available in different patterns, so you can have them all together for a more enjoyable table setting.

Keizan-Ofen

Der Keizan-Brennofen, benannt nach „Keizan“, was „schöner Berg“ bedeutet, ist ein Hersteller von Arita-Ware, der 1957 neben einem wunderschönen Tal mit einem klaren Bach gegründet wurde. Der Brennofen wurde 1957 von einem Keramikmeister an einem Ort gegründet, an dem die traditionelle Arita-Porzellanindustrie seit 400 Jahren besteht.

Artha Ware

Arita-Ware wird in der historischen Stadt Arita in der Präfektur Saga hergestellt und gilt als das traditionsreichste Zentrum der Porzellanproduktion in den Annalen der japanischen Geschichte. Charakteristisch für die ätherische, durchscheinend weiße Oberfläche, die mit lebendigen Malereien verziert ist, hat sie das Porzellanhandwerk in ganz Europa nachhaltig beeinflusst.

In Japan genießt Arita-Ware als prestigeträchtige Marke hohes Ansehen und die Stadt Arita gilt als typisches Produktionsgebiet.
