A small sized Ramen bowl with stylish radiating lines on the rim.

It is smaller than regular sized Ramen bowl. For Ramen, Soba and Udon, small portion or dry noodles are recommended. The widened shape also works well as a serving bowl for appetizers, salad, and side dishes such as Sunomono (vinegared food) and Nimono(simmered food) for about 2 person.

Lines are called "Tokusa" pattern in Japan. Tokusa is the name of a plant and refers to a pattern of vertical stripes. It has been loved since the Edo period (1603-1868) as a symbol of good luck to wish for growth and prosperity because of its straight growth.
