For Custom Orders
The journey to creating a successful customized product begins with you and us sharing a mutual understanding of your ideals and constraints.
Please understand that the more unique and highly skilled artisans and workshops are often extremely busy and cannot accommodate vague inquiries.
To ensure clarity, we will work closely with you to organize your requirements as specifically as possible. Based on these discussions, we will approach the most suitable artisans and assemble the ideal production team to bring your vision to life.
Point1
About the design
Please share the image you have in mind for your product. This could be a hand-drawn sketch, a product from our lineup that closely resembles your vision, or even reference images from other sources.
Our partner artisans each have their own areas of expertise, and the right artisan to consult depends on the design you’re aiming for. We welcome any evolution in your design preferences as discussions progress, so please start by sharing the design ideas that resonate with you most at the moment.
If possible, providing multiple ideas will allow us to make more concrete proposals regarding timelines and costs.
Point2
About quantity
Let us know how many pieces you’re hoping to produce—an approximate number is perfectly fine. For instance, producing 10 mugs is vastly different from producing 1,000, both in terms of production methods and the workshops best suited for the task. Without a general idea of quantity, it is impossible to create an estimate.
Point3
About deadlines
Let us know when you need the product in hand. As a general guideline, creating a sample typically takes about one month from the time of formal order placement. Full production timelines vary significantly depending on the design and quantity but will require at least two months.
Developing a new product inevitably involves trial and error, so we recommend setting a timeline with sufficient flexibility.
Point4
About budget
Please share the maximum budget you can allocate to the customized product. As your partner, we promise to explore ways to achieve your vision within the lowest possible cost. However, knowing your budget in advance allows us to assess the feasibility of your ideas early on and provide honest feedback.
