Nambu Ironware Teapots

Nambu Ironware Teapots

Nambu ironware, a representative type of Japanese ironware, is a pure cast-iron craft. Made since the Edo period, it originated in the Morioka City area of Iwate Prefecture in Japan's northeastern Tohoku region. The name "Nambu" comes from the former name of that area, the Nambu Domain.

Combining robustness and delicate design, Nambu ironware has the advantage of being highly functional on top of its attractive appearance.
