These Wakasa lacquer chopsticks are made of natural wood, traditional lacquer, and protective acrylic urethane. The large size and lovely color gradation of the cherry blossoms decorating the handles make this pair of chopsticks hard to miss. The chopsticks are carefully crafted and have a beautiful pentagonal shape clearly defined at the upper part and extending even to the tips.
These chopsticks are easy to hold and pick up food with. Recommended not only for daily use, but also for entertaining guests or as a gift.
They come in two colors, blue or pink, each in a different size. Please choose the one that best fits your hand size.
These chopsticks are made by Ishida, which has been making Wakasa lacquer for over 80 years. Wakasa lacquerware is a traditional craft of Obama City, Fukui Prefecture, which has been around since the early Edo period (1603 CE–1868 CE).
