MUSUBI Originals
MUSUBI Originals brings together MUSUBI KILN’s original creations—each rooted in Japanese tradition and reimagined for modern life. From thoughtfully curated tableware sets and organic incense designed to restore inner balance, to hands-on craft kits developed with master artisans, every collection reflects a shared philosophy: honoring craftsmanship, embracing mindful living, and finding beauty in the process. These originals invite you to slow down, engage your senses, and experience Japan’s cultural heritage through objects made with purpose, care, and intention.
MUSUBI MONO blends the meaning of the Japanese word mono (thing) with the English prefix mono (only), expressing the truly one-of-a-kind nature of each set. Carefully curated by MUSUBI KILN staff and guided by our table designer, every collection features authentic tableware crafted by skilled Japanese artisans.
Inspired by ichiju-sansai—Japan’s traditional “one soup, three dishes” dining style—these dinnerware sets bring together exquisite pieces from renowned makers across Japan. They celebrate seasonal ingredients and nutritional balance, offering an elegant way to experience Japanese food culture where aesthetics and tradition meet.

Designed as a small ritual to “return to yourself,” MUSUBI KILN’s original organic incense series ma was developed in collaboration with master incense artisan Fujiwara Yujiro of Kikujudo on Awaji Island—Japan’s leading incense-producing region—and Tokyo-based aromatherapy specialists SeaAroma, who crafted the organic essential oil blends.
Through extensive prototyping, the team refined nine initial formulas down to three signature scents that retain their character even when burned. Rooted in the Japanese concept of ma—the quiet space between moments—the collection unfolds across three moods: Awaken for gentle mornings, Focus for clear-minded afternoons, and Calm for peaceful evenings, each offering a sensory pathway back to inner stillness.

The MUSUBI Craft Kits are original creations by MUSUBI KILN that invite you to slow down and step into the heart of Japanese craftsmanship. Currently featuring the Kintsugi Craft Kit, this set is thoughtfully developed in collaboration with Matsumoto Kota, an artisan of Kagawa lacquerware.
The kit includes the essential materials needed to begin, along with a step-by-step video guide and instruction booklet, offering a meaningful introduction to traditional craft that goes far beyond surface-level making. The process itself becomes a deeply rewarding and immersive experience—one that honors the beauty of creation and brings centuries-old craftsmanship into everyday life in an accessible, modern way.
