Into the infinite depths of the starry skies, the silver leaf powder shines and sparkles from every angle you admire it. The gold leaf powder has a restrained brilliance, like the dim-lit shine of the furthest star. Square fragments of blue shells exhibit green and purple reflections, giving you a fantastic and dreamy feel.

When matcha is served in the bowl, you have before you the night's starry skies over an ever-green grass field. The mist and steam of hot matcha form clouds on the glass, like breaks of clouds hiding and fogging the shining stars of the night sky. A truly poetic scene, a little microcosm of a galaxy in the bowl, draws admiration.

The outside is coated with a wooden powder coating and black lacquer to retain heat. The glass protects the night sky layer so you can cherish this piece in your everyday use without worry of scratches.  The heat-proof glass was made in Aomori prefecture by Tsugaru Vidro, a region with a long tradition of glassware.

This "Ginga" or galaxy motif matcha bowl will make your tea drinking experience more fascinating. The rich thickness keeps freshly brewed matcha warm and delicious for a long time. Delivered in an original wooden box, which makes it a perfect gift for your loved ones.
