Kinsai Korinbai Kutani Tumbler Pair

The painting is Korin Ogata's renowned painting "Red Plum Blossoms" which is registered as Japanese national treasure. It is the culmination of his graphical composition and design.
The white glaze painted with a brush looks like a snowscape. The sight of snow piled up on the plum blossoms that have once bloomed has been popular in Japan since ancient times.
