I'm so glad I took a gamble and got a full set of these bowls. They are simple and elegant. I was worried that they would be too small and they actually do look small, but they actually hold a lot. Each bowl can hold 2 cups (~470 ml) which is only a little less than what a standard ikea deep bowl would hold. The volume makes these bowls very versatile - I basically use them as meal bowls for everything: rice, noodles, pasta, etc, and they add such a beautiful look to any simple homemade meal without any effort.
