Chic Tea Party with Cat Teapot Set

This cute teapot set with a cat taking a walk on a moonlit night will surely spark conversation! 

The unique cat design of this Tokoname ware tea set is not only adorable, but also authentic. The "Sasame" type tea strainer is made with a fine craftsman's technique, which allows the tea leaves to open well, and ensures that every last drop of tea is poured out.

The cups come in a set of five. The moderately small size is suitable for high-grade tea leaves.It is fun to prepare several tea leaves for tasting.

For the serving plate, I chose a square plate from Hibino. A Kumiko coaster was placed on top of the plate. For the Japanese sweets, I added a fork made of wild cherry bark work.
