Description

This is a small chrysanthemum-shaped small plate by Zuiho Kiln of Arita porcelain. The metallic-colored rim enhances the texture of the simple white porcelain, giving it a more sophisticated look.

Chrysanthemum is a shape often used in Japanese tableware. Chrysanthemums have meanings such as "love" and "true strength" and are known as an auspicious motif.

This small plate comes in two colors, gold and silver. The gold has a warmer feel and the silver a cooler impression. This plate is suitable for everyday use as well as for festive table settings.

The small, slightly deep design is designed to suit a dish called "Tsukidashi" as served in Japanese restaurants. Tsukidashi is a small dish that is served first as a snack with sake.

You can put them on a large plate or inside the Jubako Bento Box for a more gorgeous presentation. It can be used not only for cooking, but also for sauces and condiments.

Zuiho Kiln was established in 1917. Having built a kiln in the Arita Sotoyama area, Zuiho Kiln has always felt the changes in the times. They have continued to produce original tableware for restaurants including traditional Japanese style restaurants, Ryotei. They also produce tableware that people can use in their everyday lives and that have warmth only felt in handmade products.
