Description

This elegant bowl features delicate Hanazume style, meaning filled with flowers, one of the most notable design of Kutani ware which has been handed down the Taisho period (1912–26).

Filled with colorful flowers all over the body with gold trimming, it has a timeless elegance and sophistication created by hand drawn technique; there are no two alike.

It is not a perfect circle; the asymmetry of its natural shape is intentional and an exquisite expression of art in its raw form.

The 7.4” diameter is perfect for tea time to serve with confectioneries or fruits and the splendid traditional flower design makes it an extraordinary gift for loved ones.
