Description

This Nambu ironware teapot is bright purple with a modern chrysanthemum motif design. Purple has long been revered in Japan as a "noble" or "mysterious" color. Chrysanthemums also have the same noble connotation.

In Japanese culture, the chrysanthemum flower has great cultural significance. It is used as a symbol of the Japanese imperial family for centuries, on the cover of Japanese passports, and as a decorative motif in traditional Japanese art, often on tableware and kimonos.

It has a capacity of 650ml, which is enough for a generous cup of tea. The inside of the teapot is enameled to prevent rusting even after daily casual use. It comes with a stainless steel strainer on the inside. The handle can be folded down.

The charm of Nambu ironware is that it can be used for decades, sometimes for generations. Please use it in your daily life and enjoy the changes it undergoes over time.
