This gorgeous Japanese Kobachi (small bowl) features a modern interpretation of the traditional classic patterns of old Imari.

It is made by Rinkuro Kiln from Hasami ware, which is widely known as a light, durable and easy-to-use tableware among Japanese tableware, and is an indispensable stoneware in both restaurants and homes.

    About HASAMI ware

    Hasami ware is a type of pottery produced in the vicinity of Hasami-cho, located in the north central part of Nagasaki Prefecture, with a history of over 400 years. One of the characteristics of Hasami ware is that there is no fixed technique, so it is possible to make pottery that fits the times. For this reason, Hasami ware comes in a variety of shapes, both large and small, and has a rich variety of designs. Because of the variety of expressions, Hasami ware is loved by people of all ages and genders.

    Unqiue and gorgeous

    The size is perfect to put sauces. It is so cute to place on my dinner table. I got a pair of it. Highly recommended. It looks exactly like the pic shown on the website.

    Compact but so detailed

    Everything about Musubi Kiln has been seamless from the assistance to getting my ceramics from one side if the world to the other, faultless. As for this cute little bowl, so much detail in a bowl so compact, what a pleasure to own it!
